Inaugural CATCH Spin event

CATCH stands for “Community Ambassadors to Conquer HPV”. Our mission involves raising funds to subsidize HPV vaccines for underprivileged populations. As you know, this is a brilliant intervention which has the potential to really reduce the incidence of cervical cancer. Many people, who usually happen to be the most vulnerable, unfortunately do not have access to this basic form of primaryprevention. We are trying to bridge this gap and offer free vaccines to underprivileged youth.

Our organization’s inaugural event, in honour of Cervical Cancer Awareness Week, will be held on Friday October 19 at 7 PM. It will start with a 45-minute high energy spin class. It will be immediately followed by some delicious refreshments. At this time, raffle prizes will be awarded. Every single participant gets automatically entered in the raffle and on the day of the event there will be opportunities to purchase additional raffle tickets. Raffle prizes are still pouring in but expect some gift certificates for great Montreal restaurants and more!

To participate we ask for a 30$ donation, all of which will directly benefit the cause since the venue and food will be kindly donated! E-transfers may be made to catch.hpv@gmail.com
